2017 Chevrolet Cruze Premier Diesel

A number of available diesel models has been shrinking since early last year, but the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze is a leader, not a follower. The streamlined compact car now comes with an available diesel powertrain that’s both efficient and powerful. With reviewers raving and enthusiasts loving the new powertrain, the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze diesel sedan is out to change the compact segment for good.

The 2017 Chevrolet Cruze equipped with the available diesel powertrain starts at just $23,795 MSRP,* and drivers can upgrade to the available nine-speed transmission for an additional $2,000. Many reviewers agree that the diesel powertrain is well worth the money.

The 1.6-liter diesel engine delivers a sporty 137 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque for a ride no driver will ever forget. Because of that, the new Cruze diesel sedan is capable of earning up to an EPA-estimated 52 mpg highway.* That fuel economy puts it a step above top competitors like the Volkswagen Jetta and Ford Focus.

The new diesel engine is currently only available in the 2017 Cruze sedan model. It will be available in the Cruze hatchback and Equinox crossover later this year as well.

We here at Teague Chevrolet are excited to see the drivers loving the new Cruze diesel sedan!

Five Chevy Vehicles Who Are Top of Their Class

Chevrolet Lineup

At Teague Chevrolet, we know a good thing when we see one, which is why we’re so proud to be your source for Chevrolet vehicles. The Chevy lineup is versatile, but it’s also unified in its standards for quality, comfort, durability, and performance. That’s why it came to no surprise to us that the brand earned the most J.D. Power Initial Quality Awards of any other. Here are those Chevy vehicles that came out at the top of their class for quality.

Chevrolet Silverado 1500

The classic Chevrolet pickup made high marks as a light-duty truck.

Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty

Like its light-duty sibling, the Silverado HD was also chosen, leading the way for heavy-duty pickups. This truck is a winner for many reasons, one of which being its new 6.6-liter Turbo-Diesel V8 engine.

 Chevrolet Equinox

When it comes to compact SUVs, the Equinox was chosen for its comfortable seating, its customization options, its advanced technology, and it’s long list of security features.

 Chevrolet Tahoe

Chevy’s large SUV scored high above its competitors, thanks to things like powerful and efficient engines.

 Chevrolet Spark

This compact car fits into the city car segment, winning the J.D. Power award thanks to its peppy handling, its efficiency and a versatile interior.
